Villa Maya - Flores

The peaceful atmosphere is rejuvenating.

During my three-night stay, I faced numerous issues. The room's air conditioning unit made a loud clanking noise, disrupting any chance of a restful night. The mattress was so firm it felt more like sleeping on the floor. Despite the hotel's serene setting, these discomforts turned my experience into a frustrating ordeal, leaving me longing for a better stay.

the room was new-fashioned with a great view and the staff very cordial. the location of the hotel was remote, very close to the jungle at the shores of a lake, and the mayan temples.

This hotel is a true jungle oasis with spacious rooms and fine views over the lake. The food is delicious.

friendly staff and incredible location in the jungle near tikal, everything was beautiful. i was offered a room with particularly good views out over a lake. the bathroom was large with a shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets.

More shade around the pool area would be good.

More privacy in the shower area would be appreciated.

The grounds are fine with lakes and nature trails. My twin room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast offered a nice variety.
